What do I need to run SpruLight?

An iPad or an iPhone with iOS or iPadOS 26 or later. On iPhone the app is used in portrait.

Where is my data?

Only on your device. SpruLight has no account and no server, so each device keeps its own data and nothing is synced between them. See the privacy policy.

How do I keep my data safe?

Keep your device's iCloud or computer backups turned on; they include the app's data and your journal photos. Deleting the app deletes its data.

How do I free up space used by photos?

Settings → Storage shows how much space your journal photos take. Photos are stored only on your device. To free space, delete journal entries from a model's history or a unit's journal.

The app says "Can't open your data."

Your data hasn't been changed or deleted. Update to the latest version of the app. If the message stays, email the error details shown on that screen to info@sprulight.com.

Is this an official StarCraft app?

No. SpruLight is an unofficial fan tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment or Archon Studio. StarCraft is a trademark of Blizzard Entertainment. Paint and brand names are trademarks of their respective owners.
